SAUCONY ORIGINALS x MAYBE TOMORROW I 3D GRID HURRICANE TORTOISE & SHADOW 6000 HARE

Streetwear brand Maybe Tomorrow is launching to the first time in the world of footwear with its next capsule collection alongside Saucony. Inspired by Aesop's classic fable The Tortoise and the Hare, the Maybe Tomorrow x Saucony capsule, aptly called "Better Together", includes the 3D Grid Hurricane and the Shadow 6000. The concept of the range is to echo the feeling that runners are stronger together when they work towards a common goal. The Maybe Tomorrow x Saucony 3D Grid Hurricane nods to the Tortoise character and features a fitted dark green textile upper, soft green suede overlays and grained leather detailing to represent the animal's shell. On the Maybe Tomorrow x Saucony Shadow 6000, the Hare-inspired silhouette sports a gray and white color scheme accented with hairy suede overlays and textured laces to mimic the character's fur. About the collaboration, Mark Nguyen, co-founder of Maybe Tomorrow, said, “I wanted to create a world where running with each other was better than competing. We took the classic story and rewrote it where both characters realize they're "better together", which is what my partner Ryan and I identified with. We found this story to be the most metaphorical way to represent not only Saucony as a running brand, but how we as Maybe Tomorrow have come together as well.
