Karhu honors the forests of its land. Founded in 1916 in Helsinki, the Karhu brand specializes in athletics. Promoted by athletes for the performance that its products offer, it made a name for itself by offering quality products. Finland is one of the most forested countries on the planet, and it is only natural that the country's forests inspire colors for the sports equipment manufacturer. The first pair in the pack is the Karhu Legacy 96 Green Moss. The model released in 1996 is built on a tight black mesh base. Dark khaki suede leather side panels reveal a black mesh M logo. Light khaki mudguards add contrast to the pair, as does the petrol blue tongue and ankle collar. The yellow sockliner elevates this design. The pair is set on a cream midsole.
The Trees of Finland pack completes its exploration of the Finnish forest by revisiting the brand's classic. The Karhu Fusion 2.0 Avocado mixes black mesh on the toebox and suede leather on the rest of the pair. Khaki on the mudguards, it becomes camel on the horizontal yoke, to change to brown at the level of the laces. The round laces contrast with the off-white used on the tongue and ankle collar. This Fusion 2.0 sits on an off-white midsole.
