HALO® High Altitude, Low Opening

The story begins at Aalborg Air Base in 1981, when founder Helge Petersen, a Danish Special Forces soldier and skydiving enthusiast, made a surprising discovery. During one of his jumps, he wondered: why was his jumpsuit soaked while his parachute remained perfectly dry? Many years later, in Copenhagen in 2015, this observation gave rise to the first sportswear collection, made from technical materials similar to those of the parachute that had piqued Helge's curiosity. In the 1980s, the Danish Special Forces were renowned for their HALO (High Altitude, Low Opening) jumps. Today, forty years later, our name proudly pays tribute to the innovative spirit of our founder and the Danish Special Forces.

HALO celebrates the art of seamless transition. Having come from the Danish special forces and grown up in the city, we believe in the power of adaptability.

There are brands we choose for their aesthetics and others for the story they tell. HALO is one of those that carries a story. A story of rigor, commitment, and functionality. A story inherited from the military world, where every detail has a purpose, every material a reason for being. At the origin of the project is the direct influence of the Danish special forces. Clothing designed to withstand, protect, and move with you.
With HALO, this demanding approach becomes everyday wear.
A STRONG SILHOUETTE, WITHOUT OSTENTION At HALO, nothing is decorative. The cuts are clean and structured. The materials are technical and durable. The colors are carefully chosen: khaki, black, sand, and utilitarian shades. The result: a balance between functional robustness and Scandinavian minimalism. You'll find the outdoor spirit, the tactical influence, but always with that Nordic restraint that makes all the difference. Discover our Spring/Summer 2026 selection in store & online!
