Puraai was born in 2020 from the fusion of the creative minds of two young Italian designers, driven by a constant search for an identity that fully represents them. It was during a trip to Japan that they finally found the inspiration for their brand. At the end of a day spent discovering and studying the latest trends in Tokyo, their attention was drawn to a small detail on a recyclable plastic bottle. The symbol κ is part of the Japanese character used to identify a recyclable product, a concept very dear to them. Puraai is a brand resolutely committed to sustainable development, prioritizing the use of bio-based or recycled materials. Each shoe model incorporates a significant proportion of materials from previous life cycles, starting with the recycled rubber sole. Puraai's philosophy is based on an ethical, cruelty-free approach to animals; all its models are free of animal-derived materials and are PETA Approved.
