Basic Classics - Made in the USA. In 1972, founder Earl Beard opened a factory in the small Texas town of Crockett with the simple goal of making durable, workwear that was fit for purpose. More than 50 years later, we're proud to say our Crockett factory is still operating, producing our Made in USA line of tough, practical painter's pants, work pants, and more. Made the same way they've always been made, the garments in our Made in the USA collection have that unique "wabi-sabi" quality that can only be achieved through small-scale production and a team of dedicated craftspeople (some of whom have been with us for decades).
