REALones® have been manufactured in Kitchener, Ontario – formerly New Berlin and thus arguably the most German-influenced city in Canada – since the mid-80s. BARBARIAN® Rugby Wear quality is based on unique experience in textile manufacturing and the demands of rugby. Founded by a father and son, the company now employs more than 100 people in one of Canada's most modern factories. More than 100.000 BARBARIAN® rugby jerseys leave the factory annually. In 1998, Hamburg-based importer Marc Haufschild introduced REALones® – as BARBARIAN® rugby wear is known in many places – to Germany. Since then, the number of BARBARIAN® fans has grown steadily. The materials, quality, and workmanship, coupled with flexible and competent service, are winning over more and more rugby and non-rugby players throughout Germany.
