Water-resistant and virtually windproof, our lightweight Ranger anorak is an ideal packable layer when the weather turns bad. With roots dating back to ancient Greenland, it is inspired by the smocks worn by mountaineers and military troops of the era. The innovative 4 oz waxed cotton from England's historic British Millerain is non-greasy and washable. A one-piece shoulder design minimizes seams for improved water resistance. The hood is generously sized to fit caps, and the front zipper extends half the length for ventilation and easy on and off. The divided kangaroo pocket and front storm flap are secured with snap buttons finished in enamel to match those used in our 1950s jackets. Adjustable snap cuffs. Extended back hem length. Ventilation eyelets under the arms.
