Introduced in 2015, the Malibu Canyon has become a flagship style of the original product line.
Back when surfers headed south to Baja Mexico to avoid the crowded surf scene of Southern California in the late 1950s, they befriended the indigenous people of Mexico who introduced them to this type of simple but complex and rustic hand-woven sandals. Since then, huaraches have also been called “surfer sandals”.
With a return to traditional design philosophy, we have reinvented the classic woven sandal using contemporary engineering techniques using cruelty-free, vegan materials.
